The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), Led by Executive Chairperson Cllr. Alexandra K. Zoe, Continued Training County Service Center Personnels, County Council Members and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)

The two-day training was held in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, bringing together County Council members, County Service Center personnel and Civil Society Organizations from Grand Bassa, River Cess and Montserrado Counties. 

On behalf of the City Mayor of Grand Bassa County, City Manager Mr. Thomas A. Nimely welcomed the LACC team and participants, stressing the importance of teaching and practicing integrity at every level.

The training provided participants with a better Understanding of the LACC’s mandate, Asset Declaration and Verification, the National Code of Conduct, Corruption Prevention Mechanisms, Ethics and Integrity in Public Service, Corruption Reporting, and Whistleblower Protection. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. John E. Tommy- Program Manager for Education and Prevention Department, Ms. Vivian S. Akoto- Executive Assistant/Program Manager to the office of the Executive Chairperson, Hon. Arthur W. B. Fumbah - Vice Executive Chairperson, Mr. James K. Kingsley - Executive Director and Mr. Alfred D. Karnley - Prevention Officer. 

The LACC remains committed to conducting training on corruption prevention to help citizens understand their role in the fight against corruption and equip them with the knowledge needed to carry out their duties and serve the Liberian people with fairness and integrity.
