LACC Ends Anti-Corruption Awareness in Nimba
Citizens of Saniquillie City, Nimba County has called on the LACC to establish Integrity Clubs in schools and County Integrity Coalitions around the country.
The call was made in separate remarks by a cross section of stakeholders and citizens at the end of the Nationwide Anti-Corruption Awareness held at the Saniquillie City Hall.
The participants wants the LACC to make it’s presence felt in the various counties by opening sub-offices or regional offices, observing that the fight against corruption can not take place in Monrovia alone.
The citizens also want the passage of the Whistler Blower and Witness Protection Acts.
The Nationwide Anti-Corruption Awareness in Nimba County brought together participants from the police, immigration, religious community, students and other stakeholders in three separate cities in Nimba; Ganta, Sacleapea and Saniquillie.
The fourth leg of the Nationwide Anti-Corruption Awareness is expected to carry the LACC to Bomi, Cape Mount and Gbarpolu Counties.
