The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) hereby informs the general public, media institutions, and all concerned citizens that the First Judicial Circuit, Criminal Court “C” for Montserrado County, Republic of Liberia, has issued an Indictment

Defendants (Bureau of State Enterprises – BSE):

  1. Mr.Arthur Massaquoi, former Director General

  2. Mr. Matthew F. Kotio, Comptroller

  3. Ms. Kathinal Mitchell

  4. Hon. Varlee F. Sanor

  5. Mr. Isaac C. Kporkulah

  6. Ms. Jessephen Yah Dahn

   7. Mr. Mohammed V. Fofana

 Charges Include:

   1. Economic Sabotage

   2. Theft of Property

   3. Misapplication of Entrusted Property

   4. Criminal Conspiracy

   5. Criminal Facilitation

 STATUS UPDATE:

The LACC hereby informs the public that Mr. Mohammed V. Fofana, Ms. Kathinal Mitchell, Mr. Isaac C. Kporkulah, Ms. Jessephen Yah Dahn, Mr. Mathew F. Koto and Mr. Arthur Massaquoi  have been arrested and are currently under the jurisdiction of the Honorable Court.

While Mr. Varlee F. Sarnor is WANTED by the Court!

The LACC is taking the necessary steps in collaboration with the Court to ensure that all Defendants are given speedy, fair and transparent trial.

The Court has commanded the Sheriff of Montserrado County, or his lawful deputy, to arrest the wanted defendant and produce them before Criminal Court “C”, First Judicial Circuit, Montserrado County, during its November Term, A.D. 2025, to answer to the charges contained in the indictment.

The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission reaffirms its commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process, and urges the public to allow the judicial process to proceed without interference or speculation.
